We visited Villagefest on Thursday night in downtown Palm Springs, they list over 200 booths offering beautiful art, hand crafted items and unique food. In addition to the street displays many shops were open

50 miles south west of Palm Springs on the south west corner of the San Jacinto Wilderness and in the San Bernardo National Forest lays Idyllwild below the San Jacino Mountians.With the tall Pines and Cedar trees Idyllwild has a small town atmosphere,with small shops displaying local crafts.

We took a three day trip to Quartzite, Salome and drove to the outskirts of Phoenix for a birthday luncheon for our friend Fern, we spent time in Quartzite both going and returning to Palm Spring

Today we went to the Cabot's Rueblo Museum a Hopi style 5,000 feet, 35 room, 150 windows and 65 door building. The museum is advertised as the oldest Green museum in America. for more info www.cabotsmuseum.org
